Sandy’s gown was pink and frilly
Off the shoulder a little chilly.
Ed was clad in a ‘suit of lights’
Short jewelled jacket, cummerbund and tights,
Now, there’s an Hombre to adore,
He looks just like a Toreador.

She’d play Carmen any day
To Edward’s Don José!
Sandy adopted a flirtatious pose,
Between her lips she placed a rose
Arranged a Mantilla on her head—

Then she cried ‘Oh no, oh really no!’
Why should all those señoritas throw
Their roses to her Ed.
