Beware
A Hole-in-the-Wall Bar may be a ‘Speak-easy’

Very sleazy.
Special knock — dah dit dah.
A voice: ‘Vat iss der password?’
We are Kiwis and have heard
That the beer
Is excellent here.
‘Okay / You pay / You stay.’

Sideways sidle after the bloke
Mask your face with your cloak.
Lots of laughter, lots of smoke
Only did it for a joke!
But what you are drinking —
It doesn’t bear thinking.
