To Rowan.
Your cyclist, it is very plain
Should really have travelled by train
That inept kind of chap
To have that mishap
Would have surely done it again.
Beware all you old biking folk
Slow down or you might have a stroke
Or get in a muddle
On your face in a puddle
And believe me—that is no joke!
I think I would much rather walk
And stop for a while for a talk.
And if it is cheesy
Forget I am wheezy
’Tis different as cheese is from chalk.
I suggest that we finish this saga
And stop all this poetic palava.
To think always in rhyme
Is a big waste of time
And sending is utterly gaga!
