Oh I love to go a-walking
Along the cycle track
And as I go I stride right out
At the beginning of the track.

I always take my walking stick
Along the cycle track
I have to use my walking stick
Along the cycle track

I sometimes start to limp a bit
Along the cycle track
Oh yes I often limp a bit
Further along the track

I love to see the little seats
Rotary puts along the track
I like to sit and rest a bit
Half way along the track

Some day I might get to Clive
Along the cycle track
I’ll get there more dead than alive
At the end of that blasted track
