About Holmes Frontier

The Frontier of Independent Storytelling.

Holmes Frontier is built on a non-negotiable philosophy: if a book sells one copy, the reader deserves a professional product; if it sells millions, the standard is the same. Quality is not a variable of the market—it is a requirement of the craft.

This commitment to archival excellence is in the blood. The imprint draws its name and its standard from a deep family history of visual storytelling, rooted in the work of R.B. Holmes, whose photography captured the frontier of India a century ago. Following in that tradition of preservation, Holmes Frontier was born from a mission to rescue works that traditional channels overlooked—starting with the manuscripts of my own mother.

Today, that mission spans from meticulous historical restoration to new Christian titles and grounded children’s literature. We do not publish for the sake of volume. We only produce works that must exist—stories that offer whimsical yet real-world life lessons without the "BS," and theological works that refuse to compromise on truth.

With over 30 years of experience in graphic design, technical illustration, layup and prepress and color production, I treat every page as a permanent record. Whether it is a century-old photograph or a modern memoir, every work deserves the atmosphere, readability, and restrained design necessary to endure.

Your legacy deserves the same frontier. If you have a story, an archive, or a manuscript that must be out there, I invite you to present it with the professional weight it deserves.

Independent Storytelling. Unbridled Truth. Real Journeys.
